During the war in 1781, a very brave girl saved her baby sister from a group of Indians that broke into her home.

2. What are the most important things that happened in the story? Write one or 2 sentences.

While the Indians were looting her home, the girl and her parents hid in the upstairs bedroom.  Her parents soon realized that her baby sister was still downstairs. The girl bravely crawled past the Indians to save her sister.
